Please remember to allow at least 2 full working days for your prescription to be processed.
We encourage all of our patients to request their medication electronically through SystmOnline or by email but you may request a prescription slip to be printed by either the pharmacy or at our reception.
To request repeat medication online, click on the link at the top of this page. This service is already available to you if you are registered for the SystmOnline service. If you wish to register for online services, please contact reception.
Prescription requests may be deposited at/collected from:
- St Helens Medical Centre
- Boots, Bembridge
- Seaview Pharmacy
- Or any other pharmacy of your choice
Boots and Seaview Pharmacy offer a personal prescription delivery service – please contact them direct for details.
For security reasons we are unable to accept telephone or verbal requests for repeat prescriptions, but youcan email requests to IWCCG.StHelensPrescriptions@nhs.net. Written requests may be posted through the door at the Medical Centre when the surgery is closed or deposited in the secure box just inside the door during opening hours.
If someone other than yourself collects your prescription, you should be aware you are allowing that person access to your personal and clinical data.
EPS (Electronic Prescription Service)
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service. You need to choose a place for your GP practice to electronically send your prescription to, this is called nomination. You can ask any pharmacy or dispensing appliance contractor that offers EPS or your GP practice to add your nomination for you. You will then collect your prescription directly from your nominated pharmacy.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner at least once a year to review these regular medications. We will contact you when your medication review is due.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
