Both surgeries are by appointment, and can be made at the reception desk, by telephone or online via the link at the top of this page.

Urgent Appointments

We in addition to routine appointments have urgent appointments each day for the Doctor and the Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

Urgent appointments are not for repeat prescriptions, fit notes or for signing forms but for urgent matters only.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner & Nurse Prescriber

We have a Nurse Prescriber available every day and Advanced Nurse Practitioner working a Monday and Wednesday who can deal with all minor ailments and give prescriptions where necessary.

Telephone Advice

The doctors are usually available to give telephone advice after their morning and afternoon surgery. We kindly ask patients to phone before 10:00 if possible so we can do our best to assist you.

Training Practice

As a teaching Practice, medical students spend part of their training with us. The Practice is also involved with medical research.

We would value your co-operation with both of these, but we understand if you do not want to be involved with GP Registrars.

All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation. Please request this at the time of booking or speak to your GP.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
